Hello Maria,

I met you briefly yesterday evening at the JCL. I look forward to reading Incognito. As a poet, I am interested in psychological premise so loved the opening of your book. I've long been interested in Spain 1492 and was intrigued by the fact you chose to approach the subject from the perspective of "hiding."

You might also be interested in checking out the online literary journal qarrtsiluni (that is the speliing) I am very admiring of their journal, the work of two editors Beth and Dave. There are also poems of mine. You might like to have a look at "Go My Uncle and Fetch the Bride." It relates to last night's discussion. The question of artfulness vs. combat. To me a quiet statement can be a powerful one! A bridge not everyone accepts.

All best,
Jane
